134 Palestinians Martyred in 24 Hours as Israeli Aggression in Gaza Escalates

GAZA, July 22 (Alliance News): At least 134 Palestinians were martyred and 1,155 others injured in the past 24 hours amid continued Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Monday.

Among the victims, 99 people were killed and 650 injured while they were reportedly trying to receive humanitarian aid. Hospitals across Gaza continue to struggle with the overwhelming number of casualties and a severe shortage of medical supplies.

The Ministry stated that rescue operations remain difficult due to the ongoing airstrikes. Ambulances and civil defense workers are unable to access several areas, leaving many civilians trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Since October 7, 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has reached 59,029, with at least 142,135 people injured, according to official figures released by Gaza’s health authorities.

The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen as densely populated areas are repeatedly targeted, with aid convoys frequently unable to reach those in need due to military operations and road destruction.
