RIYADH, Sep 13 (Alliance News): The United Kingdom has reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia following attacks by Yemen’s Houthi militia, during a phone call between the two countries’ foreign ministers.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call on Saturday from UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Edward Miliband.
The two ministers discussed recent developments in the region, with Miliband reiterating Britain’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia following attacks launched by the Houthi militia.
He emphasised Saudi Arabia’s right to take necessary measures to defend its security and capabilities in accordance with international law.
