ISLAMABAD, July 18 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed satisfaction over the successful completion of hands-on training in China by the first batch of around 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates.
In a message shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) timeline, the prime minister said it was heartening to know that the graduates had received practical training in key agricultural domains including water-saving irrigation, seed production, animal husbandry, crop production, and post-harvest loss prevention.
He extended gratitude to the Chinese leadership, the Government of Shaanxi Province, and the collaborating universities for their support and cooperation in facilitating the training.
The prime minister also acknowledged the efforts of the Ministry of National Food Security, the Higher Education Commission, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing for their role in ensuring the success of this initiative.
This group is the first cohort of the 1,000 Pakistani agriculture graduates selected for training under the program announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his official visit to China in June 2024.
