Hajj 1446 Preparations Reviewed in Key Advisory Council Meeting Led by Sheikh Sudais

MAKKAH, May 8 (Alliance News) – A significant meeting of the Advisory Council for the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs was held in Makkah under the leadership of Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Head of Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, to review the operational and spiritual readiness for Hajj 1446 AH.

During the session, Sheikh Sudais emphasized the Presidency’s commitment to ensuring full governance and strict supervision to enhance services for the pilgrims — the Guests of the Most Gracious — and to make their spiritual experience exemplary.

He reaffirmed the commitment to following the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to ensure pilgrims receive the best possible services and facilities.

Sheikh Sudais highlighted that modern technologies and artificial intelligence would be deployed to deliver the moderate and peaceful message of Hajj in multiple languages globally, improving access and understanding for pilgrims of all backgrounds.

The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Sheikh Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly, Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque; Dr. Osama Al-Zamil, Presidential Advisor; and Sheikh Dr. Yousef Al-Wabil, a lecturer at the Grand Mosque, along with other key council members.

Sheikh Sudais instructed all relevant departments to intensify efforts for the timely and efficient completion of Hajj arrangements. He stressed the importance of enhancing institutional performance and digital services to meet world-class standards.

It was also announced that the Presidency will unveil its comprehensive action plan for Hajj 1446 AH tomorrow. The main objective of the Advisory Council is to ensure that all services and arrangements align with the spiritual, logistical, and technological needs of the modern-day pilgrim.
