Khamenei Vows ‘No Mercy’ as Iran Launches New Wave of Missile Attacks on Israel

TEHRAN, Jun 18 (Alliance News): Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared a resolute stance against Israeli aggression, promising a strong and unforgiving response to what he called the “terrorist Zionist regime.”

In a rare message posted in English on the social media platform X, Ayatollah Khamenei warned, “We will have to give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show no mercy to the Zionists.”

His statement comes amid mounting tensions in the Middle East and follows US President Donald Trump’s repeated warnings to Iran against retaliatory action. However, Tehran appears undeterred and has signaled that it is prepared for direct confrontation if provoked further.

This warning from Iran’s highest authority comes at a time when the Islamic Republic has already launched the 10th phase of its ongoing campaign, Operation Sadeq III, which reportedly includes a new wave of ballistic missile strikes on Israeli airbases.

Iran’s escalation signals a growing readiness to retaliate decisively to Israeli airstrikes, which have killed top Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists in recent weeks. Tehran has emphasized that it considers these strikes acts of war.

The region now teeters on the brink of a wider conflict, with Israel claiming control of Iranian airspace and vowing to intensify its campaign. Meanwhile, Iran’s leadership remains defiant, pledging to continue its response and defend its sovereignty without compromise.
