TASHKENT, July 16 (Alliance News): The President of Uzbekistan has officially signed a resolution to begin nationwide preparations for the 34th anniversary of the country’s state independence, to be celebrated under the theme: “For the sake of the Motherland, for the sake of the nation, for the sake of the people!”
According to the presidential resolution, a comprehensive concept has been approved, with celebrations set to take place across the country — from regional centers to local communities — in a grand and inclusive manner.
The festivities will include a wide range of cultural and sports events, concerts, contests, and educational programs designed to highlight the country’s progress and patriotic spirit.
Among the traditional events planned are popular national competitions such as “The Homeland Through the Eyes of an Artist”, “Living for the Homeland!”, and “The Greatest, the Dearest”.
The grand finale of music contests featuring songs and compositions dedicated to Uzbekistan’s independence will also be held, with winners being honored in a special ceremony on the eve of Independence Day.
Special committees have been formed to oversee the organization of these events. These include prominent scientists, cultural figures, artists, athletes, and public representatives who will lead conferences, open dialogues, literary evenings, film screenings, and nationwide celebrations reflecting on the role of independence in Uzbekistan’s development.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and the Head of the Social Development Department within the Presidential Administration have been tasked with ensuring the successful execution of the resolution and related events.
