DUBAI, Aug 12 (Alliance News): The inaugural WHX Tech 2025, a flagship digital health event by Informa Markets, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 8 to 10, spotlighting artificial intelligence, women-led innovation, and practical solutions reshaping global healthcare.
Organised in collaboration with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), Dubai Health, Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Emirates Health Services (EHS), and NABIDH, the event will host over 200 speakers, 300 brands, and 5,000 healthcare leaders from more than 30 countries.
Central to the programme is the World X stage, which will showcase women leaders, generative AI breakthroughs, and real-world case studies driving change in care delivery. Speakers include Tatyana Kanzaveli, Founder and CEO of Open Health Network, whose AI-powered solutions such as TrialSphere for clinical trials and TAMI for behavioural health have been recognised by the White House, Forbes, and the United Nations.
“Rather than come in to patch a broken system, AI is here to reprogram it,” Kanzaveli said, promising to highlight how generative AI can advance drug discovery, clinical decision-making, and personalised care.
The event will also feature Dr. Rashmi Rao, Chief Product Officer at Philips, discussing the unwritten rules of health innovation, and Meghan Huffman, Vice President of Digital Health at Novant Health, who will join a panel on “Envisioning Healthcare in 2050,” exploring AI integration and patient-centric care models.
Other highlights include live hospital simulations, the US$50,000 WHX Tech Xcelerate Startup Competition, and targeted investor matchmaking sessions aimed at turning concepts into operational solutions.
“WHX Tech is designed to inspire action,” said Peter Hall, President – Middle East, India, Türkiye & Africa at Informa Markets. “From our government partnerships to the global speaker lineup, every element is geared toward solutions that improve care today and for tomorrow.”
Positioned as the next evolution of Informa Markets’ 50-year healthcare legacy in the region, WHX Tech builds on the foundation of Arab Health, now rebranded as WHX Dubai, cementing Dubai’s role as a global healthcare innovation hub.
