DUBAI, Nov 26 (Alliance News): Dubai’s popular 3-Day Super Sale is set to become a five-day shopping extravaganza this year, coinciding with the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad long weekend.
The extended sale will run from November 28 to December 2, offering shoppers massive discounts of up to 90 percent across more than 500 brands and 2,000 stores throughout the city.
Timed with the upcoming four-day national holiday, residents are expected to flock to malls in one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. The holiday begins with the regular weekend on November 29 and 30, followed by official Eid Al Etihad holidays on December 1 and 2.
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the extended edition will launch with Dubai’s first-ever 24-Hour Sale on November 28 at Dubai Festival City Mall. The marathon sale will start at 10am with live performances, roaming entertainment, laser shows and exclusive flash deals at Festival Bay.
The first 500 shoppers will receive a special Kiehl’s goodie bag, while customers spending Dh300 can enter a raffle to win a Toyota Urban Cruiser. Early entrants will also get an additional limited-edition Kiehl’s gift bag.
DFRE confirmed major price drops across all categories, including fashion, beauty, electronics, lifestyle, homeware and accessories. Participating brands include Michael Kors, Ted Baker, US Polo Association, E City, Virgin Megastore, Pottery Barn, Kipling, Steve Madden, Al Futtaim Watches & Jewellery, Damas, Muji, Xpressions Style, Sephora, Watsons, Odora, Carters and many others.
With a longer holiday and extended sale period, Dubai is expected to witness heavy footfall as residents and tourists take advantage of some of the year’s biggest deals.
