Trump made secret military flight amid Iran threat: report

WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 (Alliance News): U.S. President Donald Trump travelled from Türkiye to the United Kingdom aboard a secret military aircraft due to security concerns linked to an alleged Iranian threat, according to a report by The Washington Post.

The report said the White House had initially planned for Trump to travel aboard Air Force One, but security officials instead opted to use a C-32A military aircraft as part of enhanced protective measures.

According to the report, Trump was secretly transported to the military aircraft in a catering truck, while Air Force One was reportedly used as a decoy to conceal the president’s movements.

The Washington Post said the operation was conducted under strict secrecy because of heightened security concerns, with the Pentagon implementing extraordinary measures to protect the president during the journey.

Neither the White House nor the Pentagon immediately issued an official statement commenting on the reported security arrangements.
