Iran warns against any ground attack on its borders

TEHRAN, April 18 (Alliance News): Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, a senior commander in the Iranian Army, has issued a strong warning to adversaries, stating that any notion of a ground assault on Iran’s borders should be “abandoned forever.”

According to Iranian media reports, Jahanshahi said in an interview that hostile forces must remove the idea of launching a ground attack against the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran from their thinking entirely.

He stressed that such ambitions should remain confined to imagination and not translate into any practical military plans.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions, with Iranian military officials reiterating their preparedness to defend the country’s territorial integrity against any external aggression.

Jahanshahi underscored that Iran’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully capable of responding decisively to any threat, warning that miscalculations by adversaries could have serious consequences.

His remarks reflect Tehran’s continued emphasis on deterrence, as the country signals its readiness to counter potential escalation along its borders.
