ISLAMABAD, April 06 (Alliance News): A meeting of ambassadors from countries participating in the upcoming FIFA World Cup was held in Islamabad, bringing together senior diplomats to discuss the role of sports in strengthening international relations.

The event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan, Turkey, Morocco, and Bosnia and Herzegovina posted in Pakistan.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to promote sports diplomacy, enhance mutual friendship, and expand cooperation among their respective countries.

The diplomats emphasized that international sporting events provide an important platform for cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives highlighted Uzbekistan’s qualification for the World Cup as a moment of national pride.
