BEIJING, June 13 (Alliance News): China has expressed serious concern over Israel’s military strikes on Iran, warning of grave consequences and urging restraint from all parties to prevent further escalation.
Speaking at a regular press conference on Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jien stated that Beijing strongly opposes any actions violating Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
“China is seriously concerned about the Israeli attacks on Iran and the serious consequences arising from such actions,” Lin said, calling for an immediate de-escalation.
He emphasized that rising tensions in the region serve no one’s interests and could destabilize the broader Middle East.
“China urges all relevant parties to promote regional peace and stability and avoid further escalation of tensions,” the spokesperson added.
Beijing’s statement comes as global powers closely monitor the fallout from Israel’s strikes, which targeted multiple Iranian nuclear and military facilities.
